IP Helper on S4048T
Hi,
Hope someone can help
We have two S4048T running VLT on a simple routing VLAN up to our "core" switches which are a pair of HP procurves.
We have a Hyper-V Host connected via a LACP channel to Po41, which is untagged in VLAN 30.
VLAN 30 has the IP Helper-address set to 192.168.250.250 (which is our Windows 2016 DHCP server)
We can route successfully from the Hyper-V host to the DHCP server (which has a static IP on VLAN 30)
Hyper-V guests share the same LACP port channel, yet they do not get an IP address.
I'm new to DNOS, is there any way I can easily confirm where the DHCP forwarding is failing?

Hi,
You could try the show logging command. Page 70 https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_ser_stor_net/esuprt_networking/esuprt_net_fxd_prt_swtchs/networking-s4048t-on_user%27s-guide19_en-us.pdf
You may need to use something like wireshark to isolate the issue though.
