Issues with LLDP and errors in the log
Mar 4 12:58:05.824 Eastern %STKUNIT1-M:CP %LLDP-3-EXT_POW_MDI: Configuration mismatch with neighbor on interface Gi 2/11 Greetings Our network consists of approx 18 3148 switches with a few 4148 in Layer 2 mode I have checked the switch and as far as I can tell , LLDP is set up correctly but I continue to receive these errors on a lot of ports in multiple switch stacks !. PVST enabled Spanning Tree enabled On all ports and vlans it seems to be set up interface GigabitEthernet 2/14 no ip address portmode hybrid switchport speed 1000 spanning-tree pvst edge-port bpduguard service-policy input VOICE_TO_QUEUE_2_POLICY_MAP power inline no shutdown ITSW1(conf-lldp)#show conf ! protocol lldp advertise dot1-tlv port-vlan-id advertise dot3-tlv max-frame-size advertise management-tlv management-address system-capabilities system-description system-name advertise interface-port-desc ITSW1(conf-lldp)# Any help would be appreciated ! Hi,
Is the firmware up to date on the switch stacks? Besides getting the error is LLDP working?
