MAC based security

Hello, We are using N1548 and N3024 in our network topology. I want to secure our network for unauthorised cabling to the switches. N3024 is working for inter vlan routing, DHCP on the firewall. Users are going through over N3024 to DHCP pool, If I can block unauthorised mac addresses on the N3024 it is enough for me. Can I create a mac pool on N3024 as allowed?

Can you private message me the service tag?

Hi,

I read that before but I can't handle it. Can you show me some example?

You can use mac access-list extended to create a mac access list. Page 283 https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_ser_stor_net/esuprt_networking/esuprt_net_fxd_prt_swtchs/networking-n3000-series_user%27s-guide11_en-us.pdf

Then from the configuration for it use permit mac host and the mac address.

Then assign than ACL to the ports.
