MAC_MOVE: non-standard MAC addresses jumping around interfaces
exerpt from log:
<189> Sep 26 08:37:28 SW-KJK-DC1-15-1 FDB[dtlAddrTask]: fdb.c(584) 3326 %% NOTE MAC_MOVE: Mac 0450.FFFFFFDA0F.FFFFFFFB48 in VLAN: 14 is overwritten from entryType 1 to 1and port Po53 to Po49
<189> Sep 26 08:37:24 SW-KJK-DC1-15-1 FDB[dtlAddrTask]: fdb.c(584) 3325 %% NOTE MAC_MOVE: Mac 0450.FFFFFFDA0F.FFFFFFFB48 in VLAN: 14 is overwritten from entryType 1 to 1and port Po49 to Po53
VLAN14 is for wireless access clients so MAC MOVES might be normal, although I can't remember having seen these MAC_MOVEs before in the log of the switch.
What's not normal are the listed MAC addresses. It seems they are filled up with 6 F's here and there.
Some more MACs:
0450.FFFFFFDA0F.FFFFFFFB48
04FFFFFFD6.FFFFFFAA75.FFFFFFD7FFFFFFAC
08FFFFFFC5.FFFFFFE1FFFFFFB5.532E
0CFFFFFFCB.FFFFFF85FFFFFFAF.FFFFFF9AFFFFFFA9
1002.FFFFFFB5FFFFFFD2.33FFFFFFC7
1002.FFFFFFB5FFFFFFD2.3403
1420.5E16.FFFFFFE450
145F.FFFFFF94FFFFFFE1.FFFFFFE1FFFFFF94
18FFFFFFF6.431A.0F47
2079.18FFFFFFB0.FFFFFFA478
Anyone have an idea why this is occuring?
Suggestion for troubleshooting?
UPDATE: It is fixed in firmware 6.5.3.6.
I should have known.
