Thanks Daniel. I've gone over that section of the manual and can't see any obvious issues. It appears that our Cisco stack is doing Layer 3 multicast routing - not sure if this is part of the issue, as I can't seem to enable any Layer 3 multicast functions on the Dell switches.

I have attached config from the Dell stack.

Yes, the Cisco should perform the routing. Yes, the N2048P stack only needs to be L2.

I initially enabled routing to try to enable multicast routing capabilities on the N2048P however subsequently found it's not supported on the N2000 series. The wireless controller (Cisco 2100 series) is two hops away (connected to the Cisco stack) - however this shouldn't really have any bearing.

I've disabled routing on the N2048P however it doesn't seem to have made a difference.
