MXL-10/40GbE Vlan Routing
Hi Everyone, i have Dell MD1000e chassis with 16 blades and a MXL-10/40GbE card.
15 of my blades are connected to Vlan210 and are working perfectly fine on that vlan. I had also added another Vlan410 and connected other blade onto that vlan but unfortunately i cannot get the communication to work. The blades are baremetal with Ubuntu 18 installed. The blade that I am trying to talk on Vlan410 is connected to:
interface TenGigabitEthernet 0/12 as per my configuration below. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, if anyone can provide an input it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ok I got this to work. Just needed to set the same settings as posted above on my standby switch IO card and everything is working perfectly now.... the settings above are all valid and can benefit anyone else in the future if you run into the same issue. Thanks

Hi,
The port configuration looks fine. It seems like it is set in the proper vlan. How is it configured on the server?

Hi Josh, on the server, its just a regular network configuration eg: ip address, mask, gateway etc... I also made a small vlan configuration change but still it does not work....

Im logged into my ubuntu server that sits on vlan410. It has an ip address configured that belongs to the vlan410. I simply try to ping the default gateway but it does not get there. So i know this is not working.

How are you testing it?
