N2000 inactivity timeout
I have a N2024 and a N2048 and while in the web interface, I am always getting kicked out after 10 minutes because of 'inactivity', yet I am "checking this and changing that config".
I was watching the Login Sessions times, and once it hits 10 min, it kicks me out.
Is there a way to turn off the inactivity timer, or at least change it? Couldn't find anything in the user manual or online.

I think I found the solution:
ip http timeout-policy idle 3600 life 86400

This method works for out N4032 switches, thanks!
Idle timeout for HTTPS is now set for 30 minutes.
The accepted solution DOES NOT work for N4000 switches, at least not ours.

I didn't see anything either. That's why I posted here.
Possible firmware bug? I am on 6.1.1.7. But I was having this issue before I upgraded from firmware 6.0.x
Having to log back in every 10 minutes is a pain, especially when in the middle of configuring things. I can see if I was actually 'idle', but I'm not.
Thanks

So now I have my 3rd N20xx series switch, and regardless of any activity, I get kicked out every 10 minutes. Really really annoying.
Has there been any fix/workaround for this?

I believe you can change the inactivity timer for at least some of the user interfaces, but not sure if the web interface is one of those. While in config mode, look under the "line" options, such as "line telnet" and "line console". There may be others. You can set the exec-timout (execute timeout) to however many minutes you want. Zero means never time out. You will have to see if there is an option for web UI, or can try setting the existing ones to see if it remedies the web timeout. Unfortunately, the only way I know to do this is from the CLI.

Hi. did you get sucess with this config? We are facing this problem on all NSeries (6.2.6.6 image).. getting kicked out after 5 minutes because of 'web inactivity' timeout. It is very difficult to put user and password every time. any help? (ProSupport Eng. no solution!)

I came across this solution and wanted to add that the "ip http timeout-policy"... command worked on my switches that had firmware 6.3.0.16. But on my switch that was still at 6.2.0.5, the "timeout-policy" was not available.
