N3048 Web and SSH stuck

Question

Hi I have 2 N3048 in stack, yesterday after add email recipient web interface stuck. No webpage no responding, wen i try connect via ssh using putty, i enter login and password and putty stuck too (when i try enter wrong login or password i got information about wrong credentials). Management address only respond to ping. All other functions appear to be intact. Is any way to reset management session or something that via console cable to restore management via web or ssh?

The problem is much worse than I thought. I'm not able to do anything by the console port.

I use the default settings, such as bitrate 9600 etc. When connected to Unit 1 I have a message "(Unit 1 - CLI unavailable - please connect to master on Unit 2)>"

And when connected to Unit2 console does not respond.

Do you have any idea what I can do except reboot whole stack ?

Hi.

Restart only Master switch restore access to configuration.

The problem was repeated again, this time after saving settings before save setting I add 2 interfaces to LACP + Vlan so completely different operation than first time.

Hi.

After Restart, second Unit become master and web/ssh config start responding .

The situation for me was as follows :

- Unit2 was master switch

- After save settings after add email notification, web/ssh config stopped responding

- After restart Unit 1 - no result

- After restart Unit2, Unit1 become Master and I regained acces to config

- After Save setting after add LACP + vlan web/ssh config stopped responding

- After restart Unit 1, Unit 2 become Master and I regained acces to config

Firmware version is 6.1.0.6, I know this is an old version, but on this version everything worked properly for 1-2 years. No new functionality has not been configured since the first configuration, only the standard works, like Adding VLAN, VLAN assignment to port/Lag, adding LAG-LACP, or add an email to e-mail notifications.

As for the duplicate IP address it is highly unlikely, becouse console port also stop responding, and problem occurred only after save settings and only ping witch correct mac address responding without any problem when problem occurred .

OK. I should update the firmware straight to the newest version or I should first update to version x, after that to version y .......  and after several updates to newest version ?
