N4032F SFP module compatibility
I have a 320-2881 1000base-sx MM sfp module. I'm wondering if it's compatible with the N4032F switch I have on order.
Are there any compatibility matrices available?
Thanks

Thanks Daniel
That's all I could find as well. I was hoping maybe Dell had a list.
Once my switch shows up, i'll find out and post back.

Hi,
the service unsupported-transceiver command is not working for me.
I tried it on the 4032F and 2048P with Intel and Cisco Gbics.
Only Dell Gbics work.
Anybody tried it and had success?

We recently updated a PowerConnect 8132F (identifies as a N4032F) from firmware 6.1.1.7 to 6.2.1.6. Previously we had a generic Finisar FTRJ8519 that worked just dandy as a 1G SFP connecting up to a PC5324, but after the upgrade it refused to bring up the link, regardless of whether or not "service unsupported-transceiver". Ironically, before the upgrade, some genuine Dell copper SFP's which were showing as "nonqualified" started identifying as qualified (and kept working).

Having a similar issue with a N4032 using "compatible" SPF+ modules from a vendor. Something fun I discovered - the modules get a "Non-qualified optics" response when plugged in. Using the "service" command only prevents the message - link refuses to come up. After some testing between a Te port on a 5524P and the N4032, I discovered that turning off negotiation on the ports brought the link up. So setting both ends with "speed 1000" or :"speed 10000" resulted in a connection between the devices. A firmware change from 6.1.2.4 to 6.2.7.2 didn't change or improve the situation.
