No link for manually set port speed/duplex

Question

I'm connecting to a 10M-Full device that gets auto-detected at 10M-Half. So, I manually set the port to 10M-Full, but as soon as I hit Apply the link goes down (whether or not I enable flow control). Even if I manually set the link to 10M-Half (which is what it auto-detected it as), it still drops the link. Does anybody have any ideas?

This is a Dell PowerConnect 3024, sorry I forgot to mention that.
