Open Manage Network Manager Top Interface Bandwidth
I have a 1GB link between 2 sites. On one side the link goes into a Force 10 (10GB port) and the other side goes into a 4032f 10GB port. The speed displays as 1GB in Open Manage which is correct.
My question is on the Top Interface Bandwidth within Dell OpenManage Network Manager, lets say it shows as 10% for this port (either side). Is that 10% of 10GB or 10% of 1GB. Obviously if it was 10% of 10GB, the link would be at maximum. My true figures are circa 6-7% daily.

Hi,
What do other interface counters show for the amount of data beening passed? If it shows it as a 1Gb connection it should be the percentage of 1Gb.

Hi
I am just looking now and it is reporting 18% so it must be 18% of 1GB. It couldn't be 18% of 10GB as that would be 1.8GB and the link is only 1GB so I think that answers the question.
cheers
