OS10 Switch remote vtep configuration

Dear all,

at the moment we are working at a project to connect two or more locations with VXLAN. Our current setup defines every Server as a VTEP. These are Linux-Servers an we can use either ovs or iproute2 to create VXLANs interfaces for the containers.

Also we must use Unicast with several endpoints and cannnot use multicast VXLAN.

In this scenario every VTEP knows all other VTEPs. If we add another VTEP we need to configure all other VTEPs.
Every server is connected to a S4148F-On switch with OS10. We tried to use the VXLAN configuration with no success so far.
Our idea would be, that the VTEPs on one location only knows the switch as vtep and a switch only knows all vteps on this location and all other switches.
The VTEP configuration between swichtes is working fine, we used this configuration guide for beginning: https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/de-de/dell-emc-smartfabric-os10/vxlan-evpn-10-5-2_ug/vxlan?guid=guid-be64fe62-b216-4de5-bf3f-64e69cc0f28c&lang=en-us
However if we are trying to add a linux remote-vtep, the State is down. We have the following configuration as an example:
Linux-Server VTEP1 has the ip address 172.29.255.1/16, there is a VXLAN interface configured with ip 172.30.1.1/16
The loopback interface on the switch has the address 172.29.255.11/16 (as far as we understand this is the vtep address). We add the remote-vtep in the virtual network but the state is down (show nve remote-vtep summary).
Is that configuration even possible? Maybe you have a hint where to look, thank you.

Hi, I found something you and our community can evaluate it. I think these BGP configuration guide, OS10 user gıide and VXLAN and BGP EVPN configuration guide documents give some hints.

BGP configuration | Dell EMC Networking Virtualization Overlay for BGP EVPN Leaf-Spine Topology with Symmetric and Asymmetric IRB | Dell Technologies Info Hub

you need to enable graceful restart and configure the neighbors that share routes to the VTEPs. You also need to specify the neighbor by its link IP address, set the advertisement interval, enable BFD, enable fall-over, specify the remote autonomous system number, and specify the IPv4 unicast address family.

Dell SmartFabric OS10 User Guide Release 10.5.3 | Dell US

to configure source IP address on VTEP, configure a VXLAN virtual network, configure VLAN-tagged access ports, enable overlay routing between virtual networks, advertise VXLAN source IP address, and configure VLT.

VXLAN and BGP EVPN Configuration Guide for Dell EMC SmartFabric OS10 Release 10.5.0 | Dell US

you need to deploy the OS10 switch as a VXLAN gateway and operate it as a VXLAN tunnel endpoint (VTEP). You also need to use VXLAN tunnels to communicate server VLAN segments through the extended L2 forwarding domain
