PC 2848 - 3 VLANs (2 uplinks) - new user
Hi People,
I am new to setting up this switch, so I was wondering if someone out there can help me out.
I have a PowerConnect 2848 and this is what I am striving to do:
Ports 1-36 (VLAN 1 -- untagged)
Ports 36-42 (VLAN 2 -- untagged)
Ports 42-46 (VLAN 3 -- untagged)
Port 47 (VLAN 2/3 Uplink via a trunk link from router)
Port 48 (VLAN 1 Uplink)
I have been able to set the port assignments to the VLANs (marked as U) for each port necessary (no marks in LAG area)
For VLAN 1 I marked port 48 as T (tagged)
For VLAN 2/3 I marked port 47 as T (tagged)
As far as I know, that should let me use the vlans, but unfortunately I can not get an IP from the DHCP servers so something is not quite right.
I know that the DHCP servers are fine, because when I attach a simple switch as VLAN 1 only, I get an address. (The old switch for VLAN2/3 with a trunk also works).
Does anyone know what I'm missing?
Thanks!

36 (vlan1&vlan2) belongs to two valns? the same as port 42?
What is meant "Port 47 (vlan2/3)"?
Can you put some screenshot of the setting on it?

Port 48 is a trunk port carrying tagged frames for VLAN 2/3.
Port 45-46 belong to VLAN 3 ( marked as U )
Port 37-44 belong to VLAN 2 ( marked as U )
Ports 1-36 belong to VLAN 1 ( marked as U )
port 47 belongs to VLAN 1 ( marked as U )
port 48 belongs to VLAN 2/3 ( Trunk marked as T - tagged )
After updating the firmware, this configuration started to work.
