PC 3348 VLAN Question
Hello, I am just getting into this and don't know too much about switches, so please don't mind my ignorance.
I have a PC 3348 that I would like to do VLAN'ing with, below is my scenario... how would I go about properly setting this up... can this even be done?
I receive one ethernet feed off of the datacenter cisco router which is setup on port 48. I would like each port to be on it's own VLAN but that is able to connect to port 48 to reach the outside world and for the outside world to get in. I would like to assign each VLAN a /29 (I currently have two /25's on two different subnets) and add additional IPs as needed to the VLAN.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
TR

There are a number of very good whitepapers here (http://www1.us.dell.com/content/topics/global.aspx/solutions/en/pwcnt_papers?c=us&cs=555&l=en&s=biz) which show how to setup VLANs that might help you. Also a google search can provide you with lots of good information on VLAN and how they work.
