PC3348 and Multi-VLANs
All,
I have recently been requested to configure a PC3348 to use Multi VLANs in a shared office network.
They have a a shared internet connection that they all want to see, but do not want traffic passing from office to office.
On previous versions of the PC3xxx I could allocate a navite VLAN to a port but than explicitly allow traffic from other VLAN to access the Multi-VLAN ports as required.
For example the LAN of the firewall was connect to ethernet1 which is in VLAN 1 and all VLANs could access that VLAN and it could access all other VLAN. VLANs 2 & 3 which where individual iffices could not communicate with each other.
Can anyone help?
Cheers
Mark

The feature you would need to use to accomplish this goal is referred to as "port overlapping".
Please see the following threads for information on port overlapping:

On the 3324, you would use the "general" mode to untag multiple VLANs on the same port
