PC5448, VLAN, and Linux Channel bonding
Hi,
I'm in trouble configuring a Linux server with a PC5448 switch :
- switchports 45-48 are trunked to my backbone (10 VLANs)
- switch ports 1,2 are members port port-channel 2
- port-channel 2 is in access mode on VLAN 9
- the server have 2 Gb NICs (Intel) connected to switch ports 1,2
- I created a bonding interface on the Linux server using 802.3ad mode
But when I assign an IP to that interface and try to ping other hosts on my VLAN 9, I get nothing. The switch itself seems to be blind !
I have to precise I tried to put switchport 3 on access mode for VLAN 9 and it works fine. I guess the problem is with the port aggregation, but don't know why.
Thanks for any suggestion
