Powerconnect 2224 Compatibility with NICS?

Is there a document that lists Intel NICs fully compatibile with the Powerconnect 2224?

I have just got 2 new DELL servers (1850) with the Intel 1000/MT NICs. I tried connecting them to my backup network switch which is a 3Com OfficeConnect. Even though the switch supports 10/100, the 1000/MTs would not connect at 100 Mb. It would just default to 10 Mb. This is causing the backups to slow down considerably. I tested it with another switch, and seems like a switch issue.

I was thinking about replacing that switch with the Powerconnect 2224, and I just want to confirm that there are no such issues and that I will be able to connect at 100 Mb.

I know i experienced a problem with an Intel pro/1000 server adapter. when the computer that had that NIC was placed on the powerconnect 2724 it lost the ip configuration. I released and renewed without any luck. I placed that computer back to original switch ( a Netgear 1Gb switch) the nick started working normally again. I had to replace that nick with another intel pro/1000 model which worked ok. At least i know that model i mentioned you doesnt work with the powerconnect 2724.
