Powerconnect 2224 Compatibility with NICS?
Is there a document that lists Intel NICs fully compatibile with the Powerconnect 2224?
I have just got 2 new DELL servers (1850) with the Intel 1000/MT NICs. I tried connecting them to my backup network switch which is a 3Com OfficeConnect. Even though the switch supports 10/100, the 1000/MTs would not connect at 100 Mb. It would just default to 10 Mb. This is causing the backups to slow down considerably. I tested it with another switch, and seems like a switch issue.
I was thinking about replacing that switch with the Powerconnect 2224, and I just want to confirm that there are no such issues and that I will be able to connect at 100 Mb.
