Powerconnect 2724 feature request

Not sure who to route this to but I'm hoping a Dell moderator is reading this. I would like to see a firmware update for the powerconnect 2724 that allows a user to label a port. It would be nice to click on a specific port in the web manager and see a location description. As in Port 2 has a location field that says Office 2 or whatever label you want.

The odds are likely that your feedback has been seen by someone at Dell and your idea has been submitted as an enhancement.  Thanks for sharing the suggestion.

Is there an update? Dell reps?? This should be an easy change to the firmware. Who makes the switch? Maybe there is a 3rd party firmware.
