If you want more features, buy a Powerconnect 5324.  Dell is not going to add features to this switch so I wouldn't keep your hopes up high and I don't think there will be any more firmware releases for this switch unless there is a major issue.  Adding an insignificant feature is not worth it.
 
Starting with the 34xx switches, you have more features like adding a description to the ports and also vlans so you can just connect to the switch and see what is what.  If you want to say that Cisco does it than buy a Cisco.  You bought this switch because it was cheaper, you get what you paid for.

I disagree. Port labeling is a reasonable and basic enough feature for any switch with a GUI or CLI. No matter Cisco or Dell, this is reasonable to expect for a switch model that you can log-in.
