PowerConnect 3248 VLAN & Command Line
What are the commands to create a vlan from the command line on a Powerconnect 3248? Is there a good description of all the DOS Commands as the User Manual I find to be pretty much useless.

The online User's Guide provides the best documentation for configuring the switch using either the Web UI or the Command Line Interface. The VLAN portion of the Management Interface section lists the VLAN configuration commands. You can access the Management Interface section using the link below.
From the VLAN database mode, you would use the following command to add a new VLAN:
vlan vlan-id [name vlan-name] media ethernet [state {suspend | active}]
