Powerconnect 7048P POE not working
I have recently purchased this switch, and I'm not able to get POE to work. I have updated the firmware to the latest version, and I'm seeing strange results coming from the swtich.
This is a simple 1 switch setup.

Hi,
Does it show any errors in the logs? What are you connecting to the port? You may also want to try to reset to factory default page 206 https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_ser_stor_net/esuprt_networking/esuprt_net_fxd_prt_swtchs/powerconnect-7048p_reference%20guide_en-us.pdf

So I have tried to connect :
Prior to starting to play with the configuration, I did a factory reset, and I did a firmware upgrade.
I just checked the logs (again), and there are no errors in the log. I haven't seen any errors so far with the switch in the log.

It sounds like there might be something else wrong with the switch then. Can you private message me the service tag?

If you click my name there should be a contact me box and a button to private message me.

How can I private message you? I haven't been able to find a way to PM you.
