Replacing member switch in N2048 stack
Hello All,
I am in the process of replacing a N2048 Dell switch with the same model. It is a member switch in a three switch stack.
Is it just as simple as powering down the old N2048 switch, installing the new switch and powering up, then moving the cables to the new switch. From what I understand, the new switch should get it's configuration from the master switch?
I did pull the config from the stack and uploaded it to the new switch. Can I leave it there, or will that cause issues?

Hi,
It should pull from the master switch either if it is blank or if there is a configuration on there. Page 65 https://dell.to/3ysVYpy
As long as the new switch I powered off when added to the stack it won’t become the new master.
