RPS-720 <-> RPS-600

Hello,

I'm reading the spec sheets of the RPS-600 and RPS-720 redundant power supplies for powerconnect switches.

Facts :

• The RPS-600 documentation mentions it is intended for 5400 Series (among others)
• The RPS-720 documentation mentions it is intended for the new 5500 Series
• All the precedent devices use the same 14 pin RPS connector
• The RPS-600 has four 12V / 150W outputs
• The RPS-720 has four 12V / 180W outputs

In theory, it seems possible to connect 5400 switches on RPS-720. (and of course, the opposite is a bit risky, 5500 switches on RPS-600).

Question : can someone confirm me this is effectively possible ? Although i think it is, i'm not sure if the internal mapping of the 14 pins is the same on both versions.
