Servers cannot connect at 10GE using m8024
We have m8024 for fabric A1 and A2 other fabrics empty. The backplane is 1.1 as confirmed CMC->Summary. The m8024 firmware is latest with IOM firmware also updated. All of the servers are at 1Gb connection.
I have also tried setting the port speed to 10000 with auto-negotiation turned off but that causes the link to be down. I have tried to go into the card settings upon bootup using CTRL-S but the speed itself is set at Auto and it is a read-only setting.
M8024 Service Tag:
Card: BRCM 10Gbe 2P 57810s bNDC QLogic 577xx/578xx 10 Gb Ethernet BCM57810 - F0:1F:AF:AB:38:96
Can somone confirm that this is due to the fact that M8024 is XAUI based and the NDCs are KR based? Would replacing the M8024 with Force 10 MXL make sense in this situation?

Hi,
We have only validated KR switches at 10G in Fabric A, so yes upgrading the switches should help.
