Set vlan priority when voice vlan is enabled.
I have a core 6224 connecting a group of 5524 switches. We have Voice Vlan enabled for our ShoreTel VoIP system. My understanding when Voice Vlanins enabled that all voice traffic has priority over every any other vlan.
I would like to set the priority for all my Vlan to use the following order.
- Phone Vlan
- Desktop Vlan
- Wireless SSID #1
- Wireless SSID #2
- Wireless SSID #3
- Wireless SSID #4
Can I set the priority on the 62224 switch or would I have to set in on the 5524s as well?

In that it would be best to have it on all of the switches so each one is prioritizing the vlans using QoS page 723. http://downloads.dell.com/Manuals/Common/PowerConnect5500_CLIRef_en-us.pdf

Hi,
Are all of the VLANs used on all of the switches? If only the 6224 has all of the VLANs it should be where the priority is set.

All VLANs are used on all switches. The 6224 is at the top of the network.

On my 5524's are configures as:
DELL5524_A# show qos
Qos: Basic mode
Basic trust: cos
I cannot find a compatible command on the 6224 to see this setting.
