Switch S4112T with 12x 10GBASE-T RJ-45 ports - Maximum distance with CAT7
The 10GBase-T RJ45 port max distance with CAT7 cable should be 100 meters.
On DELL S4112T we have 12 ports 10GBase-T RJ45, can we connect a device at 100 meters and may expect 10Gb link?

Good morning,
yes, the maximum length is 100 meters and then it is the certified length along which there is no signal loss.
Thanks

Jandre26,
As long as you are using a patch panel or terminal server the maximum is 100 meters, if not then the maximum is 6 meters, as seen on page 32 here.
Let me know if this helps.

Hi Chris,
Sorry if I wasn't clear about that.
In our headquarters, we have a Cisco Catalyst C9300 as core switch, equipped with 48 RJ45 ports of which 12 are 10Gbs.
We have another office close to the headquarter where we have a DELL S4112T-ON equipped with 12x10GbT ports.
We have already laid a CAT7 cable between the two buildings, the total cable length is 99 meters.
In your opinion, may we have a stable link at 10Gbs between the two switches?
