Switch Stacking w HDMI and Troubleshooting

What's the best way to test potential data transfer / speed issues where two PCT5548 switches are connected by HDMI cables?

Thanks in advance!

Each switch has two HDMI Ports

The HDMI ports are 1.3a specification, category 2 high-speed cables, 340

MHz (10.2 Gbit/s). They are used for stacking purposes.

When the switches are connected with HDMI cables they are considered to be in a stack configuration.  In a stack, the stacking ports are not treated as regular user ports.  They cannot have any configurations set by the user.  No measurable statistics.

You can read more about stacking in the User Guide.  Page 45 starts the Stacking Overview.

Hope this helps,

While this provides basic info that I already have, we need a method of testing data transfer between switches when connected by HDMI cables--given that there are "no measurable statistics". We're at a disadvantage without it. I see more than a few similar questions within this forum with "solutions" such as, multiple HDMI cable replacements to resolve speed issues.

Or are we simply left to "black box" (read cable) swaps to look for resolution?

Thanks. I hope that helps to define this issue a bit better.
