Hi Jon,
The 2816 does not have a full CLI, just a few limited commands. It logs to syslog but does not have the ability to output to a syslog server, it allows the running of the show tech-support.

Thanks Josh,
Kind of disappointing that there is no way to syslog out the switch info. I think I would rather have that than the SNMP support.
