If you query the sysObjectId you will get some long OID which looks something like ".1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10895.....X" The "...." part may be different on some of these switches but the X is what's important. The final X is encoded with the following values:
PC6024F - 3000 ; PC6024 - 3001
PC3324 - 3002 ; PC3348 - 3003
PC5324 - 3004
PC5316M - 3005
PC3424 - 3006 ; PC3448 - 3007
PC3424P - 3008 ; PC3448P - 3009
For example, the PowerConnect 3324 switch is encoded with the final X = 3002.
Is there in one place a list of ALL sysobjectids for ALL Dell devices past & present? I develop a network discovery tool and use the sysobjectid to id the discovered devices.
