Traceroute and Telnets
One of the main things I would like to see the 6024's and 3348 switches do is a telnet and traceroute from the command lines. There have been times It would have been much easier to do a telnet from a local switch to another device on the network and am unable to do so. Likewise, troubleshooting would be MUCH EASIER if one could do a traceroute from a router. All the cisco routers and switches I have worked with in the past have this capability. In the next upgrade could we get this functionality.

The next firmware release for the 6024 implements both of these functions as well as many other feature enhancements. The current (tentative) ETA for the firmware release is mid-April.

There are no plans for any feature enhancements for the 3300 series switches.
