Trunk between 3448P and 6024
In my setup, following to my other topics I need to setup a Trunk between a 3448 and a 6024 to use the same Vlans on both switches.
I have set on boths switches a Vlan4 with untagged ports to it and created two ports on it that are trunks and tagged them to both Vlan4's.
The trunk ports are connected and up, but I cannot ping the hosts between both switches in the same subnet in Vlan 4.
I also tried these trunk ports in General mode as this is dicussed here a lot, but this doesn't solve the issue also.
Is this possible what I want or do I have an issue with both Firmware versions between the 3348 and the 6024 ?

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for this drawing, this is indeed the setup how it is at the moment. I'm working on a new installation on a PC so didn't had this software available yet.
I wonder why there are so many different stories about the configuration on a trunk port. What should be the right settings, trunk or general ? I would say trunk, but why do some people say general ?
You are helping a lot, I appreciate this very much! Thank you.

I have this working at the moment where I have 2x 6024 and 1x 3448P.
Both 6024's were connected with a trunk to the 3448P, where the case is now that the tronk goes from one 6024 to the 3448P and the second 6024.
This trunk works!
