vlan doubt on Dell N4032 switch

Dear Forum members,

I am new to Dell switches.I am working on a new vmware server setup with vlans/trunks on networking side also. I have a reference configuration but i am confused with the way SAN ports are configured on reference dell switch

Could anyone please clarify the purpose of this config,( my doubt isn't the functionality is same as access port with vlan 10 ? )

switchport mode general
switchport general pvid 10
switchport general allowed vlan add 10
