VLAN Subnet across two 3324?
We are trying to eliminate the single points of failure in our networking infrastructure, here is what we want to do.
We have two PowerConnect 3324s currently acting independently. We are using NLB in Windows to create a virtual IP address to our servers. We would like to configure our switches so that these servers can each be attached to different switches and still talk to one another. How do we configure the switches so the subnet spans them?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you,

The 3324 only supports a per-bridge Spanning Tree. It does not create a separate Spanning Tree for each VLAN. If you have more than one link between switches (one link for each VLAN), Spanning Tree will block the redundant links.
To allow for intra-VLAN communication, configure the client ports as access mode ports in their respective VLANs and configure a single link between switches in trunk mode to pass all necessary VLANs.

Greg,
Thank you, that is exactly what I needed. Works like a charm.

I have:
Router
-- Switch1
---- Switch2
I want to put a new VLAN on Switch2, but only have 1 link between Router & Switch1 and another between Switch1 & Switch2. I have aliases for both subnets on the same NIC in the router, but I can't see VLAN 2 on Switch2. The link between Switch1 and Switch2 is set to trunk, and all ports but the few ports on Switch2 that are the new subnet are members of the default VLAN 1.
