Vlans and 5212
Hello,
I have a powerconnect 5212+Gbic and 3 VLANS.
I configure my Vlans on 5212 and after Reboot, my vlans disappeared.
My config file is OK. I see the differents Vlans when i edit file with Notepad.
I test with Operation Code Image 3.1.0.13 and 3.1.0.15, The same result: my vlans disappeared after reboot.
Do you have solutions for me?
Thanks

As long as you are copying the running-config to the startup-config, there should be no reason for the VLAN configuration to disappear.
To do this, you would use the command "copy run start" and give the file a name. This new config file should automatically be set as the boot config file.

I make what did you say, and the same result: Vlan disappeared when i reboot de PC5212.
I m very surprise because i have 4 PC3348 and i didn't have any problem.
The startup file is OK because all informations is transfered when PC5212 boot except VLAN.
Thanks for your help

I found my problem. My Vlan name contain a blank caracter. So the vlan didn't load in the 5212. I remove the blank and the startup config load corectly.
Bye all.
