VLANs and Port overlapping

First - a quick thank you to those that reply with some help.

Here is my problem. I have 3 types of switches, 3448. 3048, and 5224. I need to setup two isolated VLANs. 2 or more systems need to be able to access both isolated lans and both isolated lans need access to the systems.

Everything I read about port overlapping seems to exclude PVID 1 (VLAN1). Why is that? Can I just change 2 empty ports on any switch to PVID 2 (VLAN2) and then make the two systems PVID 3  (VLAN3) where the ports that the two systems are on (two different switches) are U members of VLAN 1 and VLAN 2. I can also see where it might be able to do it with a single switch - it is crossing multiple switches that concerns me. Below is what I am needing to do. Thanks for your help again!

All  Workstations on Network VLAN1----------------------|

All Servers but 1 on VLAN1  -------------------------------- | ----------2 special Systems VLAN3

*****No connection between VLAN1 and VLAN2 ***********      |

All Testnet Stations on VLAN2------------------------------------------|
