VM's only work on 1 vlan

We have a Dell S4048 stack (2). We run Storage Spaces Direct 4 Node Cluster. When I create a VM, I can only get it to work on vlan 3 (10.1.3.1). I want to give a VM an ip of vlan 101 (10.1.0.1), but it can't ping the gateway, so no network. I wanted to reach out and see if anyone can maybe point me in the right direction. Here's how it's configured. Any ideas on how to configure Vlan 101?

    SafeRack,

Would you confirm if the switches are up to date, and at what firmware version they are currently at?

Let me research the issue for you, I will be back with you as soon as possible.

Also, if there is any other information you can provide it would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

Ok, great thank you. I will try and provide anything that will help, any commands you need to see the output on?

1-43,1-44,1-45,1-46 twinax cables to server (Management) vlan 3
2-43,2-44,2-45,2-46 twinax cables to server (Management) vlan 3

The ports are hybrid, so not configured per port, only in the vlan.

    interface Vlan 3
    name Management
    no ip address
    tagged TenGigabitEthernet 1/38-1/42
    tagged TenGigabitEthernet 2/38-2/42
    tagged Port-channel 1
    untagged TenGigabitEthernet 1/35-1/37,1/43-1/46
    untagged TenGigabitEthernet 2/35-2/37,2/43-2/46
    no shutdown

    SafeRack,

Thank you, and sorry for the delay. Would you verify which port is going from the switch to the server, and how that port is configured on the server side? I ask as I've seen other users whom haven't configured VLANs on the server side, resulting in it not knowing what to do with that traffic.

Let me know what you see.

    SafeRack,

The difference that I see is that VLAN 3 connects to the server with tagged traffic, where as VLAN 101 connects with untagged. Would you confirm what happens if you add VLAN 101 as tagged traffic instead?

Let me know what you see.

    SafeRack,

Sorry to hear that, at this point you may want to consider calling in to support so it can be analyzed directly.
