1184 not connecting to comcast, work direct connection
We spent days on this in 2003. Now have powered down, direct connect, release/renew , rebooted. connected to router, release renew, then rebooted. Doesn't work. have copied all Addresses.masks, etc when direct connected, then input when connected to router...nothing is working. Comcast signal is here...Don't know anything else to try. Any suggestions? Thanks.

This sounds like my exact same problem today with Comcast. Did you ever resolve it? If so, what worked?
