1350 NIC and WEP

Does anyone have an Inspiron 1150 with the Dell 1350 NIC and have it working with WEP on their wireless network?
 
I've had a fit ever since I bought this laptop with the 1350 internal NIC.  It will work on my network, but only with WEP encryption turned off.  I hate it, but Dell is only offering to replace the card with the same one.  The Wireless Support rep at Dell told me they had known problems with this card working with encryption.
 
Does anyone have it working on their system?  I've tried everything possible and can't get it to work with WEP.
 
Abosultely ANY ideas are helpful, or at least an admission that you can/can't get it to work on your wireless network too.

Don't know about the 1350, but I have used WEP successfully with both the 1300 and 1450. If WPA is available to you (make sure you have XP updated and the latest NIC drivers), it is a much more secure encryption method.

I have wep working on my 1150 laptop with 1350 NIC. My problem is I can't get WPA working right on both computers on my network. I don't know what your issues are, but I do know you must have IEEE authentication off, set a passcode (numeric), make sure the dell is set to handle your wireless (be sure zero network configuration is disabled in services.msc).
