1510 Wireless Half-Mini Card Causes Bad Pool Header error in Windows 10
I've identified the DELL 1510 Wireless Half-Mini Card as the cause of the Bad Pool Header error in Windows 10 on my laptop, a Latitude E5520. I've installed the latest driver available on the DELL support site for that machine. That did not resolve the issue. With the card disabled, I get no errors. With the card enabled, I've not manged to go 15 minutes, and frequently don't make it through the boot without getting the error.

I am having the same issue. This started happening when i upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10. If i turn off my wireless by switching off the WIFI card, I can work for hours without any problem.

I can confirm that have the same issue as well
Dell Studio 1555
Intel® WiFi Link 5100 Series
As per the following URL, the card is not supported in Win8/8.1 and therefore i would assume Win10 as well

I just wish i knew before i upgraded!
My laptop gets the Pool error and boot loops, but its not consistent
According to the minidump files that are created, it is because of the wifi driver, but i'm on wifi right now and it's working fine. seems to be fairly random.
I'm debating on purchasing another half mini wifi card from a different vendor but i haven't found one yet.
Any ideas or hopes for a solution?

Windows 10 is now running on this laptop. The wireless card was replaced with an Intel AC 7260. Replacing the card is easy and takes just a few minutes. Delete/uninstall the old wireless card and drivers before installing Windows 10. The bluetooth driver may not install well initially. The latest Win 10 patches installed a functional driver.
