3945 ABG updated download

Question

Question. The Dell Support keeps poping up saying to install the new 3945ABG drivers. Inspiron 9400.1705.   Everything works fine now and I have read some posts where it has created problems.   Would you suggest I install it or as the saying goes,'If it isnt broke dont fix it.'

In any other case, I'd say: go ahead, and do driver upgrade.   Just check this out: http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=si_wireless&thread.id=35909 and then decide.

I want to thank everyone for their responses. I went ahead and download the update, installed and it works fine. I had to re-enter the wireless WPA password and had a small problem that made me click the pop up to sign in everytime, bit if I waited it then would automatically sign in, would not sign in automatically when computer started up, reset it sign in automatically applied and all is well now.
