3Com Combo Win2000Pro Driver
I purchased Latitude C600 off my firm and upgraded the OS to Win2000 Pro. Downloaded the moden drivers from Dell (Z68GF04) and 3Com (3cmpci). When I try to install the driver it does not install either of them. After going to through the installed process with "have a disk" option, it does not recognise the file, i.e., remain blank.
Can any one help please.

I'm in your boat. 43th back on the left.
I have been messing with this for several weeks. I'm not stupid but can be right downright dumb. Anyway the drivers for w2000 do not have a setup routine. I went to the drivers for NT and got it to run from there. Still have not been able to get a dial tone but at least it found my modem. It wants to install on com 4 -- proving how dumb I am -- I think I only have com 1.
I didn't notice when you posted. If you have solved the problem, please let me in on it.
