6000 doesnot connect to wgr614v4 wireless router
Iam having problems to connect my 6000 laptop to netgear wirless router wgr614v4.
I have been working on this problem for the past two days and couldn't figure out a way.
I have been working on this problem for the past two days and couldn't figure out a way.
Error is get is..'Connection limited....ip address not assigned by the router'
These are my router configuration
1. WEP turned ON.
2. The router acts as DHCP server so it automatically assigns ip address.
3. Firmware version is 3.5
Iam able to connect to the internet if I have it wired throught network card but the wireless
stuff doesn't work.
Should I upgrade driver for Intel2200 card?
Should I upgrade firmware version of the router?
Any help would be appreciated.
Note:I already have my desktop connected wirelessly to this router and its been working very
efficiently.

The first thing you should do is temporarily disable WEP encryption to make sure that is not what is causing the problem.
