8600 cannot find any wireless networks

Question

I decided to format my 8600c, so I put the recovery disk in and let it go. When It was done, I re-installed all the drivers, and now my TrueMobile 1350 cannot find any wireless networks, even though they are there. I tried upgrading the driver, installing the driver for the 1400 and 1300 series and still cannot get it to find networks. SP2 is installed on XP.

please help!!

Does your wireless network adapter show up in Device Manager? Does it show up in Network Connections? Did you install the chipset drivers as the first device drivers installed after reinstalling Windows? Answers to these questions will help us figure out where the problem is.

yes, the drivers are installed, it is working in device manager, and the adapter is enabled.

Are you able to make an internet connection using a wired ethernet connection to the router?  That would provide helpful troubleshooting information.    Steve
