9100 - Interesting Problem with Dell Software - Wireless WLAN Utility - Wireless Icon not there!!
Hi everyone, I started having this problem about a week ago. Whenever I start the computer up the dell Wireless WLAN icon no longer appears in the system tray. However, the Dell Quickset icon IS available in the system tray. Within the dell Quickset software you can toggle the WLAN icon on/off (however, this has failed to produce any results). Also in the Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility you can toggle the wireless icon on/off (this also failed to produce results). I went to Dell's website and downloaded the latest Dell Quickset software as well as the latest driver for the Wireless card for windows; the card itself works fine (I am using it right now to post this message), so I am not sure exactly why dell's software is doing this...
