About partion to partition

Hi everybody,
My question is how to download or copy from partition to partition or to an external HDD.
Thanks a lot.

Open Windows Explorer and browse the folder containing the file you want to copy.  Right-click the file (or select multiple files, then right-click) and select Copy from the drop-down menu.  Now browse to the location where you want to copy to, then select Edit Paste.  Alternatively you could open two instances of Windows Explorer, browse to the folder where the original files are located and select the files,  then in the other instance of Windows Explorer browse to the destination location.  Resize and move the windows around so that both are visible, then go to the selected files in the original folder, hold down the right mouse button and drag the files to the destination folder.  All this is pretty basic Windows operations.

Thanks, but i know that.  The one i need to know that load image or a whole system i currently use from this partition to another partition or an external HDD.  In case, the current system got trouble of virus or crashed..,then i'll shift to another one with complete system and program without formatting and reload again.

You will need drive imaging software to do that.  Norton Ghost, Acronis True Image, Powerquest Drive Image, etc.

It certainly won't be included unless you ordered it as an optional extra.

Yeah, right, I used to run symantec/powerquest in dos to partition/format or copy from partition to partition, but i wonder if dell has this function in its system disc that i have placed an order.  In other system like my desktop, it has it.  Thanks.
