Adding bluetooth card to Inspiron 6000

When I ordered my Inspiron I didn't order a bluetooth card because I didn't think I would have a need. I just got an Axim so I'd like to add a card to use with that. I've found two different part numbers that claim to work in the Inspiron 6000: X5166 and W9242 - anyone know if they both work?

Thanks for that info! I'm from Canada and I was just quoted $59 for an X5166 - I'll look into the W9242....thanks

Why not just get the Dell internal bluetooth card for the 6000 and install it yourself? It's a user-upgradeable part... see here for yourself...

<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>

From what I hear it's also very inexpesive (like $15 or something).

Dang!  Dell just charged me $110.94 ($99 for the card and 11.94 for tax and shipping) for the TrueMobile 350!!!

Just don't tell them it is for an iXPS and maybe you'll get the cheaper price!

This thread is way too depressing!! It goes to show it pays to shop around.
