Thanks too bad i did't find out about the Express card slot till now

Unfortunately, from what I understand reading other messages on this forum, the B120 does not have a PCMCIA slot, rather it has a new slot called an Express slot.  Thus, your only option is a USB wireless network adapter.

And... you click on the little question mark & the popup window with the phrase "The Promise of Wireless..." in bold lists the SAME Mini-PCI options that are listed on any of the other Inspiron on those pages. Dell could do a little more to indicate that there isn't just "no integrated wireless support" INCLUDED, but NO ABILITY to ADD wireless adapter, though the owners manual on the desktop clearly shows you how to add a Mini-PCI card.

Doesn't matter now; it is headed back to the factory on the next UPS truck. RMA'd & we will have to eat the original shipping, but... will buy elsewhere this time.

Read this page (which is found by going to dell.com & searching for "B120"):

Click on "Tech Specs" 'cause you want to see what this system has available. Then click on "Communication Devices" and you will see that Wireless is "Optional" - THAT usually means that the system may or may not include wireless networking, BUT also implies that the possibility might exist. Finally, click on "Continue" and then "Customize" under the B120 column, and notice that when you scroll down it says "No Integrated Wireless Support [Included in Price]". With me?

Now, click on "Help me Choose" and see that it seems to indicate that there are several options. Cool! Since you know you already have an Intel 2200bg (its in that list there) & wireless was stated as "optional" on the B120 main product page, it might make you think (or anyone who has read so far) that the system has the capability to support wireless, & you could put a Mini-PCI adapter in AFTER you purchased the computer.

The machine will be on its way to Dell, and they may decide to swap us for a B130 with similar features including the ABILITY to enable Wireless.

I know it is late but here is what I found out.

I purchased and basic B120, also expecting it install my PCMCIA wireless card. When that wouldn't work I found the Intel model number for the Mini-PCI wireless that would fit the notebook and ordered one on e-bay. Then when it came I found that I needed the antenna. Sound familiar?

I searched e-bay for antennas and found some substitutes, not what Dell uses. I am waiting for them to arrive. I have installed the Intel 2200 wireless card and verified that it works without the antennas by being close to the access point.

There is hope but bad on Dell for not telling us up front about the express card.

For me it turned out Dell had sent me the wrong laptop and when they sent me the replacement B120 it had the wireless card and antenna. So you definitely can buy a b120 with wireless and if you get the card AND antenna it will work.

I do wish there were a USB port on the right side for a mouse, since I'm so used to having a mouse. Still not used to the finger pad mouse.  :)
