Bluetooth 370 driver for Windows 7 not working
Hi All,
I have having troubles with getting Bluetooth working with a Latitude E6400. Using the Dell Bluetooth 370 adapter and the drivers listed on the support page, it will stream to my headphones for a couple of minutes before stopping and removing itself from the computer (in Device Manager). I do not experience this behavior with an external USB bluetooth adapter. Any ideas?

I have the same issue with my E-series laptops. Tested on 5 - E6400's and 2 - E6500's. It happens with XP, Vista and Win7 x86 and 64bit. There are days where it runs fine all day and others when it drops instantly.
I wish Dell would fix this!

Agreed. I have plenty of E series laptops as well. It wasn't as bad in Vista for me as it is in 7, as it drops almost instantly. New drivers/firmware would be nice.

Ah I am not alone. So it is just a design flaw. But Dell will never acknowledge that. Support told me to reload the OS. I said no and they eventually sent me a new BT card. We'll see if that helps. My guess is the driver/firmware just doesn't work correctly.
Couple this with the docking station lock ups, CPU throttling, and fingerprint reader issues this is probably the worst engineered laptop I've seen in the last 10 years. Also, I really don't like the feel of the backlit keyboard (mushy). At this risk of this turning into a flame post, I'll leave it at that.

By disabling the power management I have been able to stream music to my bluetooth headphones for longer than I have ever been able to in Windows 7. Hopefully they fix this problem in future updates.
