Bluetooth Adventure - XPS Laptop

Greetings,

 

I have just installed an internal Truemobile Bluetooth transciever from Dell, part number T5152.

I have installed the Dell R82522.exe driver which is listed as the current driver into my Inspiron XPS laptop (Love It).  Yes, I should have ordered it when I purchased the system.

 

The software installed without incident as well as the Microsoft XP os "found" the new hardware so I have two Bluetooth icons in the control panel.

 

The system paired with a Logitech MX-900 bluetooth mouse using the internal transciever, having set the supplied Logitech base/transciever aside.  The mouse works fine and I am looking forward to getting a headset to go along with the mouse.

 

THE PROBLEM is that the wonderful "blue led" that sits next to the three green power, disk, and charge leds is barely visible.  In a darkened room, I can see the faint blue glow but it is nothing like what I expected.  Is there something that I have overlooked.  Do I (shudder) have a real problem here?
