Bluetooth not working in Inspiron N4010

I have enabled bluetooth on my Inspiron N4010 and have even successfully added a device(a cell phone). But still I'm not able to transfer any files from or to the device/laptop. 
Please suggest a solution so that my bluetooth functions properly. 
P.S. I already have the latest bluetooth driver installed on my laptop, as suggested by many here.
